Production Manager (Permanent, Full-Time)

Your impact:

As a Production Manager, you will bring your expertise to our team of about twenty people. You will have a significant impact on the work organization and the efficiency of the studio, by setting up production management systems.

With an inclusive and participative approach, you will be in close contact with all teams, whether they are in art, design, programming and the management team. This is our first production hire in order to structure our growth. You will have a direct impact on the implementation of efficient and humane processes adapted to our reality. Your role will be as much on the field as it will be strategic, managing the daily life of the studio to ensure the well-being of our team, but also the project management strategy.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Collaborate with the production to define the game development strategy;

• Be in charge of the medium/long term planning of the production schedule (deliverables, resources, budget, etc.) and set up performance indicators;

• Implement production processes and pipelines, and manage these changes with the team;

• Plan and manage the dailies and weekly syncs (planning, review, retro, etc.); 

• Optimize the use or implement work tools, including documentation and communication channels;

• Actively participate in creating a healthy, collaborative and motivating work environment for the team;

• Fluidly circulate information on the progress of the project to the entire team and collect feedback;

• Keep you informed of best practices in project/team management in order to feed the knowledge of the team, especially the more junior members;

• Participate actively in various initiatives and projects related to the culture and life of the studio.

You ideally possess the following qualities:

• A previous experience in a similar role in the video game industry;

• Participation in at least one game production cycle;

• Great autonomy and a willingness to take ownership;

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, communicate effectively and adapt to the needs of the team and the studio;

• Ability to compromise and make decisions;

• A collaborative, empathetic and solution-oriented spirit;

• Knowledge of agile methodology;

• Knowledge of Jira or any other similar project management tool;

• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
