Community Manager (Permanent, Full-Time)

Your impact:

As a Community Manager, you will bring your passion and knowledge of the video game industry and social networks to our team of about 20 people. You will have a significant impact on the success of our upcoming game by building and federating a community to which we want to offer the best gaming experience!

In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Build a comprehensive community-development strategy for the game across all phases of its development; 

  • Engage players in all major gaming communities (e.g. Reddit, Discord, Twitter, Facebook, etc. ) with the right frequency, priority and communication tone to maximize campaign results;

  • Coordinate and monitor joint communication campaigns with our external partners (PR agency, business partners, media and publishers); 

  • Set community-development KPIs and periodically report comdev campaign results to the team;

  • Gather, process and produce insights reports on community reactions, trends, feedbacks and needs for actionable use by the production team;

  • Develop and maintain a comdev playbook that align in tone with the game’s target audience;

  • Closely manage community relations in early-access and post-launch: managing expectations on content updates, gathering feedbacks and defusing crises as required;

  • Help prepare for and take part in focus tests, playtests and major industry events.

You ideally possess the following qualities:

  • Previous experience in community development or social media marketing;

  • Knowledge of the gaming industry, player types, communities and trends;

  • Keen understanding of the nuances and particularities of all social media platforms;

  • Good communication skills, both in style and tone, constructive and inclusive;

  • Natural confidence in public speaking, networking, newsletter writing, etc;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in French and English.

Extra points if:

  • You are an avid gamer who likes first-person shooters;

  • You have basic knowledge of picture and video editing tools.
